Syd Summerhill’s extraordinary marble and bronze sculpture is exhibited coast to coast and is held in significant collections throughout the country. His range and intimate knowledge of the materials with which he works have led to a prolific body of work from maquettes to monumental pieces. His figurative work whether in stone, wood or bronze are light, warm and graceful. Syd is a member of The National Sculpture Society and co-founder of the Art City School of Sculpture in Southern California. He is largely self-taught work has won awards across the country. He now lives and works on St Simons Island.
